About Me: Femke has two decades of experience helping global organisations navigate the social contract between business and society. She leads teams focused on enhancing organisational reputation, brand positioning, and sustainability , applying her expertise gained from her corporate accounts such as McDonald’s, PepsiCo, Anglo American, De Beers, Johnson & Johnson, Citi, and Scotiabank, and multilateral clients such as the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the International Development Research Centre (IDRC).

Femke is a stakeholder intelligence specialist, focused on identifying the best way for her clients to listen to and effectively engage with their stakeholders to build trust. She regularly briefs senior executives in Europe, North America, Latin America, and sub-Saharan Africa on the societal context, stakeholder perceptions, and the implications for strategy development.

Femke joined GlobeScan in 2000 after working at an environmental consultancy. She was appointed to GlobeScan’s management team in 2016.
